The Issues of Heaviness and How EFT Become a Big Part of the Solution

Sunday, May 2nd, 2010

Life is not merely controlled by actions alone, prior to a deed is the mind that leads into the direction of what the body ought to do. When the mind perceives being hale and hearty, the body amazingly boot a fit and in the pink state of being; when the mind thinks of possessing an attractive physique, the body likewise struts a shape pleasing to the eyes. This is how the partnership of mind and body goes and compliments each other that even in the goal of losing weight continues to become an integral part.

Chief complaints by and large go to weight issues and no matter how you try to make this a secondary concern, this quandary will still remain to be on top of everyone’s list. With the growing number of obese people in this heavy world perhaps what is important is not just a dieting program willing to provide secrets to attaining a beautiful body, six pack abs and hour glass form, but also a right frame of mind that will provide positive thoughts and praises as the body progresses in the goal of losing weight. You will never attain the body you long to possess if at every workout you find yourself divulging words like, “I still look awful”, “I will never become thin and will be fat all my life!” What a horrible way of treating oneself after hard hours of working out. With this way of thinking, losing weight will never be visible even a mere silhouette. Conversely, if you shift the entire scenario by exclaiming the words, “Way to go!”, “You’re losing every inch and pound you got there”, “I’m proud of how much weight you’ve lost!” All these will play a big role in your purpose of losing every inch and pound of body fats.

The moment you shift your thinking to a positive outlook, you are paving way for EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques to become apparent and prevailing in your entire way of seeing things constructively. Studies show that a person who has significant positivism in his life is likely to achieve weight loss and all other life’s issues to rest. Then again, a person who is dealing with cynical and sneering matters is those people who have not achieved anything helpful and encouraging in their lives.

Once you get hold of the techniques of EFT, in stages you will discern that weight issues are now just a piece of a cake that can be easily trimmed down without having to resort to strenuous and alarming mode of stressing oneself to lose weight. Therefore, you can say you are now experiencing a composed and unruffled way of living without being up the creek all the time. Every struggle to losing weight now becomes an everyday opportunity to slim down with so much pleasure and glee.

What have you done to attain all these? Sessions of EFT have proven that a simple tap of a finger to key acupuncture points helps liberate negative neurological patterns and stresses into things that will both shape the mind and body.

How to Get Male Abs

Friday, April 30th, 2010

There is one very important thing that supplement companies, exercise machine manufacturers, and exercise program developers do not dare tell their abs training-obsessed male customers: they already have male abs. That’s right. Males (and females!) already have abs - everyone’s born with their very own set of abdominals. The only reason you don’t see your abs is because they are currently being held captive and covered by pounds of excess fat that lies in your belly. If everyone were only made aware of this fact, no doubt people would pay more attention to regular exercise and proper diet than to so-called miracle solutions.

So, how exactly can you see your male abs again? The answer is easy, but the way to get there can be difficult without discipline and the right information. In order to make your abs visible again for the world to see, the first thing you need to do is, obviously, lose weight. If you keep piling on the pounds, your abs will remain hidden under your love handles and may never see the light of day again. Of course, finally losing weight is not the end of the journey. You need to train your abdominals in order to sculpt them and make them clearly noticeable. Training your abdominals also means toning and strengthening your male abs.

Most males actually already have more than decent abdominal muscles. The only problem is that these muscles remain dormant from lack of use or exercise. Naturally, you’ll have a hard time working on your male abs if you feel heavy and have layers of fat yet to get rid of.

Fitness experts suggest following a strict diet before plunging right ahead into an abs training regimen. The best kind of food group to invest on is carbohydrates because these are body-building nutrients. Cut back on fat but don’t skip out on meals - this will only lead to starvation and consequent binging. Instead, spread out your meals all throughout the day: take small servings and eat frequently as opposed to having three full meals.

Once you have slimmed down a bit (you’ll lose more weight during your training), it’s time to get down to business and exercise. An exercise session that lasts for at least 20 to 30 minutes thrice a week is a good start. This will burn off the remaining excess fat that may hinder you from effectively working on your male abs. Some abs trainer make the mistake of continuing their bad eating habits after they have engaged in abs training, thinking they are burning any additional calories with the exercises. If you keep eating more, you wouldn’t be able to get results at all. Always pair the exercises with proper diet.

Training the abs can be quite tricky because you need to use a proven program in order to learn all the secrets to achieve six pack male abs. Ask a fitness expert, as well as your physician, for advice and do some research on your own to find out about useful techniques for the appropriate abs training for you.

How Bodybuilders Build a Strong Back by Building Strong Abs First

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

Here a few thoughts on muscle balance in a workout, focusing on abdomen and lower back muscles. Whenever training you must be very careful not to build one muscle much more than the other muscles surrounding or associated with the muscle group that you are training. If you do this, you create a greater risk of injuring the muscle you left weaker by not training it in sync, or equally with the others. A very crucial and pertinent example of counterbalancing when weight training concerns the abdomen and the lower back. A strong stomach equals a strong back.

You need to understand the basic concept that strong abs not only give you better posture, but strengthening the abdomen muscles can definitely prevent the occurrence of lower back injuries. Now, most instruction given for ab workouts start with cardio vascular training. This is because the rational to most abdomen workouts is that you end up with that famous “six pack”. If you don’t do the proper training to burn the layer of fat covering the abdomen, then the six pack of coarse… doesn’t show.

That being said, for the purposes of this intsruction we will not concentrate on showing off the six pack. This is going to concentrate more on strengthening the abdomen which in turn will be causing the back, primarily the lower back, to become much stronger. This ab routine is going to seem different than most training for abs, because with this routine, abs are going to be worked with weight. Normally sit ups, crunches, and leg raises are done in sets of 30, 40, 50 or more. Of coarse this builds stamina in the muscle and causes the muscle to become more defined, or cut. What we are going for with this workout are much less reps -what you can comfortably do as in the typical exercises but only accomplishing ten, to no more than fifteen reps.

Doing a traditional sit up to start with, go for six to eight sets with a weight, say a plate placed on the chest with your arms crossed over it, that allows you to do 10 to 15 reps per set. Rest two to three minutes between sets. Remember, like with the training of any muscle or muscle group, give yourself a day to completely recover before working that muscle group again. To get the lower end of the abdomen muscle, lay flat on your back, and again to achieve strength, balance a plate on the shins as you do 10 to 15 reps of leg raises.

You can place you hands under you butt for balance, although keeping them by your sides will add a level of difficulty to the exercise. To concentrate on the upper abdomens, support your upper body like you would for dips. With a weight at the feet, either ankle weights, or even a triceps extension bar with the feet hooked through, raise the knees as high as possible. Give an extra squeeze at the peak of the contraction, with all three of these exercises.

Before even starting the other exercises associated with power lifting it is recommended that you perform at least 6 or seven workouts of at least 3 to 5 sets each of mid, lower, and upper abdomen exercises with weight. This will assure a very strong abdomen that will help to prevent injury to the back, especially the lower back, when doing the exercises that will strengthen the back, legs and other required muscle groups in order to perform the deadlift and squat. When doing abdomen strength training be sure to do sit ups for the mid abdomen, leg raises for the lower abdomen, and suspended leg raises for the upper abs. Do all the sets with weight, performing only 10 to 15 reps per set to failure. Continue these exercises when training for the power lifting lifts; squat and dead lift.

Interval Training Exercises Have a Way of Affecting the Body’s Metabolism

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

So you want to have six pack abs? Well, ab machines are not the answer. Abdominal machines are able to strengthen the abdominals but they are not the answer. Training with resistance, watching your diet and lowering stress in your life are key to help you Get Six Pack Abs.

Doing resistance-training increases the body’s metabolism resulting in increased muscle mass. Excess body fat is consequently used to fuel the resulting increase in muscle activity.

Interval training exercises have a way of affecting the body’s metabolism. The exercise’s anaerobic method allows the body to increase its metabolism by making the body adapt to the increased demands of the training. The increased activity causes the muscles to burn more fat. The body then utilizes the excess body fat to fuel its activity. In addition, fat burning continues well after the exercise session to provide more fuel to the muscles.

To get ripped abs, we have to watch what we eat. We should keep a balanced diet and avoid fast food, fatty food, sodas and processed foods. In watching what we eat, we can better control our caloric intake.

Eating 5-6 meals a day and by decreasing meal portions, we are better able to control the calories we consume and maintain our energy and blood sugar levels. In doing so, we are better able to utilize and consume the calories we eat and burn off the excess fat.

Stress makes our body store excess body fat in the belly area. When we are in a stressful situation, our body stores fat in our belly because of the hormone Cortisol, which is released during stress.

Meditation, deep breathing, tai chi and yoga can help us manage our stress levels and help to reduce the storage of excess fat in our belly area.

Flat Stomach Without Doing Crunches

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

Ripped abs are definitely the must have for the summer! They are pretty much the only thing you need to have when going to the beach or pool side. But how do you get those elusive abs to stop by your stomach for the summer? It seems as if they stay in hibernation year round under a “not so nice” layer of fat. To get those abs to come out and enjoy the sun you must get rid of that fat layer.

Most people believe the key to a six pack is to do crunches day in day out. They don’t realize that doing crunches without supplementing their routine with cardio can actually increase the size of their waistline. The reason for this is that the abdominal muscles get bigger and you and like any other muscle and if you have fat on top of them it will just increase your waistline size. Yes abdominal workouts are very important in strengthening and building the muscle up. But if you want to have that slim waistline you have to do cardio to burn that fat on top of the abs. If you’re trying to lose a gut then you have to do cardio, then do cardio, and after that do more cardio. Lol. I’m sure you get what I’m trying to say here, but cardio really is that important. Without it you can pretty much kiss that flat stomach good bye. You may strengthen your abs below the flab but that does nothing for flattening the layer of fat on top.

So there you go, you know what it takes to get that flat stomach, now it’s up to you!For Information on a Full Proof Weight Loss Program That Is Truly A head Of It’s Time!CLICK NOW!

What is the Best Ab Workout for Belly Fat Loss?

Monday, March 1st, 2010

The answer to the age-old question of “What is the best ab workout for losing stomach fat?” is…

None! Ab workouts alone don’t create enough of a metabolic response in your body to create fat loss.

As a trainer, nutrition specialist, and fitness professional, I often get asked what the best types of exercises and workouts are for losing stubborn stomach fat in order to bring out visible six pack abs. The problem is that most people with excess stomach fat looking to try to uncover their abs are searching for some “miracle abdominal workout” that is going to slash the fat off their abs in no time.

The thing is… they are going about the problem entirely the wrong way! The truth is that you don’t lose stomach fat by doing ab workouts.

The problem is that focusing most of your time and effort on abdominal exercises and abs workouts to try to flatten your stomach and bring out 6-pack abs is simply wasting your time from doing the correct workout programs that will acutally reduce your body fat for good.

If I were to choose an answer as to what the best exercises are for losing belly fat, my answer would include full body exercises such as the following:

various forms of squats, lunges, deadlifts, clean & presses, snatches, swings, presses and pulls, mountain climbers, sprinting, etc.

These types of full body exercises would encompass a much higher percentage of the workouts I would design instead of abs exercises directly targeting the midsection. The way you combine those full body exercises into a strategic workout that maximizes your metabolism is also very important.

Don’t get me wrong… I do recommend a certain amount of exercises that directly target the abs and core, but these are only a small fraction of the programs I design for my clients as your time is better spent focusing on the full body exercises that stimulate the greatest hormonal and metabolic changes within the body. In addition, a side-effect of working out using mostly full body multi-joint combo exercises are that you indirectly work your entire midsection even though you are not specifically targeting the abs.

Keep in mind that the most important factor for losing belly fat to see your abs is actually in the nutrition arena. No matter how hard you workout, if your diet is full of junk, then your abdominals will be covered with ugly fat. Nutrition is without a doubt the “king of getting a six pack”.

So let’s clear this up for good…

Stop wasting so much of your time focusing on situps, crunches, leg raises, and all those silly worthless “ab contraptions” in your efforts to try to develop 6-pack abs. Instead focus on high intensity full body lifts using combination multi-joint exercises all strategically combined into highly effective fat loss workouts. Couple that with a healthy diet full of natural unprocessed whole foods as close to their natural state as possible, and those elusive six-pack abdominals will yours in no time!
